Scenic Byways is a audio-visual journey through the pilot years of the artist-in-residence program at the Washington State Department of Transportation. The artists narrate the back-roads of the institution and bring the audience on a cross-state journey exploring the people, places, processes, and practices that keep the traveling public moving through our shared transportation infrastructure. The workshop closes with a meditation on shared stewardship and community maintenance.
