Heartland, Heartwork: A Field Guide to Possibility for Rural Leaders is a workbook that provides guidance for doing place-based work in rural communities and beyond. Hi-Vis was commissioned to provide an essay for the inagural publication. Their essay titled: Every Church, Every Bar, Meet the People Where They Are, is a playful narrative that provides guidance on gathering neighbors, following through on community input, and establishing reciprocity within place.
