Engage Rural is a dynamic program that empowers rural community leaders, community groups, non-arts organizations, and local governments to collaborate on creative strategies for stronger community connections, equitable civic engagement, and transformative systems change. Through a blend of workshops, peer networks, and tailored resources, we foster innovative, people-centered approaches that reimagine rural futures.

Engage Rural supports community leaders in working with artists to develop creative strategies for increased community connection, civic engagement, and equitable participation in rural places.  A creative, people-centered civic practice increases transparency and trust in local government and helps us achieve radically transformative results that can be adopted, adapted, and implemented across geographies for long-term change.

The program is a three-tiered approach, communities can choose to engage in three tracks or start with one. The three tracks focus on building relationships, working together, and driving change.
