Collaborative work as Homeboat

Homeboat facilitated a future visioning weekend for the Village of Calumet, Michigan. Our on-site research focused on visiting people, organizations, and community spaces and spending time in the “third spaces” to understand how the town operates.  The visit included with a presentation to the Calumet Downtown Development Authority on cross-sector collaboration and grassroots arts-economy organizing in rural places. We concluded with a day-long workshop at Do Work Make Good with local artist and community organizer Andrew Ranville.
