The Church Street Social Club is a clubhouse, creative residency program, queer community headquarters, and secret hangout spot in Palouse, Palouse. The building was designed and right-sized during Jack Forinash’s tenure in the Green House, built by an all-volunteer and intergenerational team of neighbors in early quarantine, and stewarded by Mary Welcome.
The Church Street Social Club is an anthem for queer ruralism and resiliency, a yard where all are welcome, and a place of soft landing, for whomever needs safe harbor.
